Shish Dou is a comedy-drama that unfolds over the course of a single night, exposing the fragility of different social classes. Two middle-aged friends, Adel and Nabil, reunited after years of hardship, stumble upon Tarek, a wealthy young man who is unconscious after a fight. Driven by poverty, fear, and desperation, they impulsively decide to kidnap him for ransom. What begins as an amateur crime spirals into a chaotic and absurd situation. Meanwhile, the powerful and calculating Helal, a local fixer and influential figure, sees Tarek’s disappearance as an opportunity to expand his control over Tarek’s family and a debt-ridden businessman named Gamal. As tensions escalate between the kidnappers, the wealthy family, and Helal, the story becomes a sharp exploration of class conflict, power, and moral collapse.
